I got a chance to visit the Zoo in Atlanta while I was in town.
The Komodo dragon at the Atlanta zoo was really really cool. I could not take a decent image through the Plexiglas of the enclosure. I tried several times, no luck. But there was a bronze statue out front… Technical Stuff: Canon 20D, EF 70-200 f2.8l @ 100mm f2.8, 1/200th Second, ISO 400 Where do you put a picture of a statue of an animal? Edit: Much to my surprise this image has become rather popular. If you liked this image, you may wish to check out: [link] and [link] Comments
Cool shot. I like the focus...
Shame it isn't a real dragon. Oh well. Its a great work anyways. -- edgaralmeida Photography and Design My wobsite (with blag included) Woooooow.
That's incredible! I couldn't figure out at first look whether it was a real animal or a statue! Heh... wow... what detail. Niiiiice shot. -- "Laugh or you'll go insane." ~Me~ "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men." "I'm sorry, but all questions must be submitted in writing." - Willy Wonka "Some minds are like concrete thoroughly mixed up and permanently set."-unknown statue or not, this is very good. Agreed about the blur, it really draws your eye inwards to the whole shot
