Photographed last February at the Denver Zoo. I hadn't made any time to go back and actually look at the images from that trip. I'd given the photo batch a cursory looking over in early February, but nothing jumped out at me. Before I archived the shots, I took one last look. This one stuck out for me, so I figured I would share.
Normally when I visit these guys are fighting over the sun beam. Or the snacks. Or running around just being, well, just being hyenas I guess.  But it turns out that they have a softer side too. It was a little chilly that day and everyone was looking for a little more warmth. Jon Tech Notes: I used my EF 70-200 f2.8L IS and my 2x teleconverter for this shot. Comments

Most of the time they are just so crazy, but you managed to catch a rare moment here. The angle and focus are both nice. I think this is a very cute picture overall.
